COVID-19 Comic Book Trilogy
In partnership with Oregon Health Authority, we enlisted the help of artist Shannon Wheeler and Bridgetown Printing to create Fighting COVID, Beating COVID, and Living with COVID, a comic book trilogy that feature a superhero with a disability who learns how to fight and beat the COVID-19 virus.

When the COVID-19 pandemic began, the ABI Social Justice Youth Group identified a need for accessible resources around COVID-19 prevention. The youths and then-board member Mike Rosen collaborated to make it happen. Thank you to local comic artist Shannon Wheeler for his work and creativity turning the idea into an amazing accessible resource in English and Spanish, and to Bridgetown Printers, for guiding us thru the printing process.
